So grab your Bowery Ballroom tickets and get your camera ready, because you’ll want to document your night. The Ballroom is a relatively small venue, able to fit around 600 people (only standing, mind you!). You might even recognize it from films like Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist and Coyote Ugly. These shows are some of the best upcoming slots at the Bowery Ballroom.

Great Good Fine Ok

Great Good Fine Ok are a US duo founded in 2013 by Jon Sandler and Luke Moellman. Their first song release, You’re The One For Me, blew up online to become one of the biggest social media tunes of the year. From there, the boys went on to support artists including Tove Lo, Bear Hands, and X Ambassadors. Their funky synthpop style is totally infectious, so make sure to pick up your Bowery Ballroom tickets for this fun show at a fantastic venue.

Magic Giant

Magic Giant came up with some of the biggest indie folk bands in recent years. They came together in Los Angeles in 2014 and never looked back. Their music combines gorgeous vocals, acoustic guitar, lap steel, fiddle, mandolin, and so many more instruments to create fantastic tunes. Their new studio album, In The Wind, is a beautiful mix of indie vibes and rural styling. It’s the perfect backing music for summer, so you really should grab Bowery Ballroom tickets for this show.

Turnpike Troubadours

Formed in Oklahoma in the early 2000s, Turnpike Troubadours are the five-piece country group of your dreams. Their recent self-titled album reached number 17 on the Billboard charts, and they have adoring fans all over the US. Their folksy Americana songs are utterly lovable, and they’ll bring a little country to New York City this summer. Make sure to swing on your cowboy boots and get Bowery Ballroom tickets to this promising gig.

Evan Dando

If you were a fan of the Lemonheads back in the Eighties, you can’t miss Evan Dando at the Bowery Ballroom. Dando played with the Lemonheads throughout their career until he struck out on his own. He has now completed multiple successful tours, collaborated with other musicians, and become a star in his own right. His brand of alternative, country influenced rock is unique and highly listenable. Bowery Ballroom tickets for this Evan Dando show will be a hot sell amongst seasoned rock fans and new music lovers.

Rooney are the funky pop rockers that you’ve been hearing all over the radio for close to twenty years now. Fronted by Robert Schwartzman and featuring a distinctive keyboard rhythm, Rooney create pumping tunes that you can’t get out of your head. The band have drawn comparisons to eclectic artists like The Beatles, Weezer, and Queens of the Stone Age. However, they are completely one of a kind. Their most recent album came out in 2016 and they’ll be touring with songs from this record and their back catalogue.

Mother Mother

Canadian indie rockers Mother Mother always put on a good show. Their six studio albums have charted an evolution and richness to their music that can’t be beaten. From 2007’s Touch Up to this year’s No Culture, the band have nurtured their harmonies and beats into a catchy and individualistic style of indie rock. If you want to get in on a band that are still relatively underground, grab Bowery Ballroom tickets to Mother Mother. They’ll blow you away and give you some hefty music cred at the same time.

Sir Sly

If you like smooth indie pop that’s in with the cool kids, you’ll love Sir Sly. These Californian strummers gained huge popularity after peaking on The Hype Machine chart. More recently, their track Gold was featured in the trailer for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. This brought Sir Sly the sort of breakout success they really deserve, and they band is running with it. They’re a memorable group that you really don’t want to miss. Catch them at the Bowery Ballroom this summer for a great show.

Beth Ditto (of The Gossip)

Beth Ditto is truly one of a kind. The self-proclaimed “fat, feminist lesbian from Arkansas” has a searing voice and punchy attitude. Ditto first gained fame as the singer for punk rockers The Gossip, gaining international acclaim with their 2006 record Standing in the Way of Control. The band split in 2016, and Ditto is set to perform her new solo work at the Bowery Ballroom this summer. Her fierce performing style and tremendous talent are something you’ve got to see.

Woods are the Brooklyn folk band that you never knew you were missing. They are taking the genre to its natural peak and gaining a strong fan base in the process. Woods have released a staggering nine albums since they first came together in 2005 with How to Survive In + In The Woods. Their intuitive psychedelically inspired folk makes for a great show, and their new album is one to remember. Love Is Love was written as a response to the recent US election, and the passion within the record reigns large. Their Bowery Ballroom show is sure to impress. – Guide to Most Popular & Upcoming concerts & events in NYC.
