His first studio album, Based on a T.R.U. Story, came out in 2012. Since then, he has collaborated with high-profile artists including Drake, Ciara, Lil Wayne, Pharrell Williams, and Fergie. They were nominated for two International Film Music Critics Association Awards following their work on the 2016 film Swiss Army Man. The Kooks are an English pop and indie rock group that are widely beloved in the music scene. Their music is reminiscent of a lot of the British post-punk revival movement. Their debut album Inside In/Inside Out went platinum multiple times in the UK, Australia, and Ireland. Their follow up albums Konk and Junk of the Heart were successful too, continuing the band’s strong musical evolution. They have also released a best-of album and toured sold out venues with this record.
